Dear Friends and Supporters,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to provide a brief update regarding the current Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) situation in Uganda and its implications for the communities we serve.

We remain in regular contact with our staff and partners in Uganda and continue to closely monitor updates from the Ministry of Health and other relevant authorities. While the Ministry of Health reported two additional confirmed Ebola cases in Kampala on May 29, 2026, both individuals were promptly identified and isolated, and all known contacts are being closely monitored.

The national response remains active and well coordinated, with ongoing surveillance, contact tracing, screening, isolation measures, and community awareness campaigns. At this time, these isolated cases have not disrupted the normal functioning of schools, public services, transportation, or day-to-day activities in the country.

We are pleased to report that the children, caregivers, and staff connected to our program remain safe and well. Students have resumed school and educational activities as planned, and our ministry operations continue without interruption.

We remain vigilant and are following all recommended public health measures to help ensure a safe learning environment and protect the communities we serve. Our team will continue to monitor the situation closely and maintain regular communication with local authorities and field staff.

Should there be any developments that significantly affect our programs or the communities we support, we will keep you informed promptly.

Thank you for your continued partnership, support, and prayers. Together, we remain committed to our vision of seeing orphans and other vulnerable children in Uganda achieve their full potential and impact their communities for Christ.

In Christ,

The Board of Directors
